ARCHITECTURAL INTERIOR DESIGN

Client Program
The client requested a contemporary private villa interior conceived as a long-term family residence, with an emphasis on spatial clarity, material integrity, and bespoke architectural elements. The brief prioritized calm, continuity, and durability over decorative expression.

Design Solution
Located within the newly developed Lisi Veranda residential area in Tbilisi, the project was approached as an architectural interior in which structure, surface, and custom-made elements operate as a unified whole. Spanning approximately 1,000 square meters, the residence unfolds through a sequence of interconnected spaces defined by proportion, light, and material continuity rather than contrast.

Custom stone elements form the core of the interior identity, appearing as fireplaces, integrated architectural details, and sculptural surfaces. Their subtle textures and handcrafted character emphasize permanence and material honesty, anchoring the interior within a timeless architectural framework. Warm-toned wood floors, rounded furniture forms, and soft textiles introduce balance and human scale, while custom-designed tables combining stone and glass explore the relationship between weight and transparency.

A sculptural staircase acts as both circulation and architectural anchor, reinforcing the spatial logic of the interior. The palette remains deliberately restrained, relying on tonal variation within natural materials. Daylight filtering through sheer curtains animates surfaces throughout the day, revealing nuanced shifts in texture and relief. Decorative elements are minimal and intentional, functioning as quiet accents within the broader spatial composition.

Select areas of the interior incorporate bespoke pieces from Madam Bozarjiants’ recent collection, presented at COLLECTIBLE Brussels. Developed in parallel with the architectural
design, these pieces are integrated as functional elements rather than decorative additions, reinforcing the project’s emphasis on material continuity and spatial coherence.

The project was realized through a close and trusting collaboration with the client—an established business leader—whose confidence in the studio’s approach allowed the design
process to unfold with unusual freedom. This level of trust enabled the development of bespoke architectural elements and material solutions with clarity and ambition, resulting in an interior shaped by long-term thinking and mutual understanding.
