Prince Heraclius in the British and Irish press
Design & Layout
For the first time a unique collection of 18th century British newspaper’s reports centered on one of the latest monarchs of Georgia has been published.
The volume includes bilingual text placed side by side so that readers familiar with both languages can compare and appreciate the precious translation. Due to the nature of its typeface and its structure the Georgian’s column has been designed wider to accomodate the longer text.
On the cover a layered image of one of Prince Heraclius’s most iconic portrait appears framed by quotes from the newspaper reports over a black background.
Letters have been covered with UV lac that makes the text stand out.
A kind of see thru the history, from past to present.
